I have a basic $2.99 laser pointer / flashlight combo.I am using this for an AIMING device and need for the laser part of it to stay on or off like the flashlight part does.I ruined one by trying to change out the small switches with each other,but I am not sure that is the proper solution..

As the title says; how easy would it be for me to turn my laser pointer into a pressure switch laser.

This may be a really dumb question but I’ve always been curious about this.

When I shine a laser pointer through my finger I can see the light coming through but I can’t see any bones.

The only things I can think of is that the bones are thinner than I think, but how dense are bones that light would be able to shine through?

So far my best idea is a 3 way G clamp but Im worried that the laser pointer may slip, should i try using some sort of tape? Or has anyone else got any other sugestions?

I have a laser pointer with a green beam, but in spite of what I’ve read, I can’t for the life of me get the end cap off. Now I remember reading an article and it says don’t use the model with a power on indicator LED. Use the model without this indicator. They even listed a specific and model or green laser pointer. Now I can’t find that article. Please let me know what model of green laser pointer is easiest to open and remove the laser module assembly from it.

I’m doing a science project on the index of refraction and I’m going to find the index of refraction of different liquids and solids. My teacher said I could use a laser pointer and a protractor to find it but I’m not sure if that’s what I should do.
