How come when I shine a laser pointer through my finger I can see light come through but not bone?
This may be a really dumb question but I’ve always been curious about this.
When I shine a laser pointer through my finger I can see the light coming through but I can’t see any bones.
The only things I can think of is that the bones are thinner than I think, but how dense are bones that light would be able to shine through?

How to attach a laser pointer to the underneath of an air rifle?
So far my best idea is a 3 way G clamp but Im worried that the laser pointer may slip, should i try using some sort of tape? Or has anyone else got any other sugestions?

What Mw and color laser pointer should I get?
I want a laser pointer but I don’t know which to get. I want a bright laser so I can look at the stars and moon but I don’t want to accidentally blind someone. The green seems better but red seems like you won’t be as likely to blind someone. I was thinking of getting a 20 mw green laser since my friend has a 50 mw green laser and it seems really good.

50mW 405nm Violet-Blue laserpointer
I’d like to share with you a product that I’ve come across at the gadget china-store called DealExtreme. If you want to use this as a pointer at presentations, use white surfaces to point at.. violet laser seems blue then and has much better visibility.. real violet at 405nm dot(when pointed at different than white surfaces) is quite blurry(from about 2meters far).. it’s because 405nm is on the edge of visibility for human eyesight.. btw.. the green dot in the video is True Green 20mW also from DX and green shining thing is silly putty sensitive to light
