@DarkModsProductions Also becareful of where you’re buying from.
Many scams are very popular on sites like Amazon and Ebay, instead i would advise buying from Chinese wholesalers such as DealExtreme and specialist laser websites that are trusted.
If you want a cheap laser to burn stuff then i would highly recommend a 200mw laser. Probably red but blue works as well. Green doesn’t burn as well but looks the brightest as our eyes are 50x more sensitive to green and blue and red.
@amapolishplummer K, thanks
@DarkModsProductions No.
For that you will need a VERY powerful laser. Probably i would say at least 5W+ (Even that would take you 5mins to cut it) and they cost loadsssss of money.
Can you get a powerful laser that also burns things that has an IR Filter? Please Respond
Can these lasers damage your eyes? If they can, what wavelength can start to damage your eyes? Also, if you shine the beam, and stare at it on the ground, can it be bad for your eyes? is 600-650nm deadly for your eyes?
@DarkModsProductions haha you need co2 laser very strong atleast 1w+
Great laser i found a 100mw on amazon for $2.00 more but a 200mw for $2.00 less!
will this cut a soda can in half???
@BlackFireNL well, you shouldn’t but as long as you keep it away from their face it’s ok
realy cools but i dont think u can do it for fun (to shine on people or something) right?
@GirlGamerReallywild thank you for your comment. That’s quite differrent. If you are in a conference room, with a 300 inches projected video on your back, could be very hard reach every part of that screen using only arms. With laser, you can stand even 10 meter away from the screen, not losing its control
This is stupid. We have those touch screen/smart boards in every class at school and we already have the different colored pens in a tray at the bottom of the board and a ballpoint for writing. we dont need a laser pen.
Andrea, you know I like so much this idea. I think you can improve it building a zoom (it can be activated with an other infrared color) to bypass difficult to click on small objects.
if u all cant tell that hes workin with a projection yer an idget. u can obvously see his shadow on the wall DAA.
also if it wasn’t a touch screnyou should have written like really far away to demonstrate.
@andreaguerrieri quad post all the way.
@WhyShouldYouCare989
You are so stupid.
@DarkCarrot99 Is not a touch screen! Is a wall with a projected image. I wrote the software to ‘capture’ the pen, so it can be used as it was a touch-screen
@WhyShouldYouCare989 Thank you for your comment. In fact is a laser, not infrared (can you take a look on wikipedia for the ‘laser’ definition and buy such as pen for 3$ ), and i’m happy that yout school took 35 of them
the only one difference is that i wrote the software, camera give to a machine only an RGB matrix, doesn’t ‘pick’ anything
Read about computer vision, there is a lot of literature
its called a smart bored its not a laser its a pen and when u push on the board it writes like a touch screen. the laser that you can see is infer red being picked up by the camera. Are school has like 35 of them in differant rooms
is he not just using his pen to poke at the touch screen?
Grande Andrea, ottima idea!
