Have you ever had a 5mW green laser pointer pointed at your eye?
Just wondering if by accident or by someone else. Did it cause any permanent damage? These are rated Class IIIb which is a step up from the cheaper red ones I think, and those didn’t do much to my eye when it was directly exposed to it for 10 seconds… at least no damage that’s easily noticeable (I did it on a dare for $20, i know it was stupid)

What happens if someone gets you with a laser pointer in the eye?
It happened to to me twice already and though its not comfortable, my vision is still perfect.

I have glasses and was shined in the eye with a laser pointer. Do I have eye damage?
I am really worried. It does not hurt now, but my eyes went a little blurry when it “hit” me. I can see well now. I am very worried.

What does a laser pointer do to your eye?
There was some loser in my band class who had nothing to do everyday but go up to the front of the band room and take the director’s laser pointer and point it at everyone. Three days later, he got me right in the eye and all of a sudden it looked like I saw a distant red light and everything else was black. It was like that for five seconds and then it cleared up. I got angry and almost fought with him until the teacher showed up.
What does the laser do to my eye? Why was my vision like that for five seconds?
What happens if someone shines a laser pointer in your eye?
In math today some kids had them and any time I moved my hand from sheilding my eyes they shone it at my eye. They only got my one eye for a second and only twice. Is anything going to happen because of that?
